Youth Sunday
On Sunday, July 6, our youth will be leading in the morning worship service. Recently returned from their retreat at Caswell,
they will be sharing their experiences with our church.
We appreciate the ministry our youth perform, and look forward to their leadership
in worship.
Dr. James Efird
To Teach the Gospel of John
Dr. James "Mickey’ Efird is professor of Biblical interpretation at Duke Divinity
School. A member of the faculty since 1962, Dr. Efird has concentrated on making the Bible accessible for laity. Dr. Efird’s
teaching, research, and writing covers both the Old and New Testaments and is reflected in thirteen books and over fifty articles
in many journals and Bible dictionaries.
Dr. Efird will teach at Lamberth on Sundays, July 13, 20, 27 and August 3, 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. He
will also bring the sermon in morning worship on July 13. Please invite your friends and join us for this unique opportunity
in the life of our church.
