Upcoming Ministry Meetings
Deacons’ Meeting: Tuesday, August 5, 7:00 p.m.
Church Council: Monday, August 11, 7:00 p.m.
On the Seventh Day,
God Rested...
...and in the seventh month, so will we. Please note the following schedule changes:
There will not be a Deacon’s meeting in July. Next meeting will be Tuesday, August 5 at 7:00
p.m. and will include our new deacons meeting with this past year’s deacons. This is a time of information and planning
for deacon ministry.
There will not be a Church Council meeting in July. Our next meeting will be Monday, August 11 at 7:00
p.m. The NEW church council (2008-09) should attend this meeting, as we will be planning for the new church year.
We will not have a meal or other activities on Wednesday, July 2. The family meal, 7:00 activities,
and choir practice will return on Wednesday, July 9.
You Should Now Be Determining Your
2008-09 Ministry Team Leaders
All 2008-09 Ministry Teams are asked to meet at their discretion to determine who will be the team leader
for the new church year. Please bear in mind: team leaders must attend church council meetings each month. Please turn the
name of your team leader in to the church office by Sunday, July 27. Senior Adult and Children’s Teams are meeting with
our pastor to determine their leaders in the times listed below.
The following ministry teams will meet in the Sanctuary at 9:30 a.m.:
Children’s Ministry Team: Sunday, July 20
Senior Adult Ministry Team: Sunday July 27
